Yes, based on UAE Cabinet Decree No (2) for the year 2018, the Impact Declaration is mandatory for all mainland private sector licenses, excluding sole establishments and cooperations. This requirement helps maintain transparency and accountability in the UAE’s CSR ecosystem while enabling Majra to better serve the private sector on its CSR, ESG and Sustainability journey. While two of the questions in the Impact Declaration are mandated, the rest are optional. Entities who completed the optional declaration receive the “Impact Declaration” stamp which is a testament to the entity’s reporting and transparency efforts towards the UAE government.
