The Impact Seal offers several key benefits:

The Impact Seal follows this timeline: 

• Application Period: 28^th February – 26^th May 2025 

• Evaluation and Reporting : 24^th May – 30^th November 2025 

• Awarding: December 2025 (TBC) 

Supporting documentation can include: 

• Policies and frameworks 

• Performance data 

• Project documentation (case studies, project summaries, evaluations) 

• Certifications 

• Media or marketing materials (sustainability reports, press releases, website publications) 

Including relevant and clear supporting documentation enhances the credibility of your application and demonstrates measurable impact. 

The process involves five main steps: 

1. Visit entityportal.uaemajra.ae and login using UAE Pass 

2. Register your organization 

3. Complete the Impact Declaration (including the “Optional Data Disclosure”) 

4. Click on “Impact Seal” and complete the application form 

5. Wait for review response (4-8 weeks) 

Yes, completing the Impact Declaration is a prerequisite to be eligible to apply for the Impact Seal. For SMEs specifically, while completion is required, they will not be penalized if unable to provide all information or answers at this stage. The Impact Declaration is designed to encourage transparency and data sharing, even if responses are incomplete. 

The Impact Declaration is a simple questionnaire designed to help Majra understand how your company actively contributes to the UAE through CSR and Sustainability efforts and investments. Based on UAE Cabinet Decree No (2) for the year 2018, all mainland private sector licenses (excluding sole establishments and cooperations) are required to disclose their Corporate Social Responsibility activities. While two questions of the Impact Declaration are mandated, the rest are optional. Entities who complete the optional declaration receive the “Impact Declaration” stamp, a prerequisite for the Impact Seal. All non-mainland companies (such as Freezone Enterprises) are welcome to voluntarily contribute by completing the Impact Declaration. 

While there is no specific fee for the Impact Seal. 

Majra welcomes all private sector entities registered in the UAE who complete the Impact Declaration as a pre-requisite. 

The evaluation criteria for the Impact Seal encompass multiple dimensions of corporate responsibility and sustainability. We assess your company’s commitment to environmental conservation, social well-being, economic empowerment, and governance practices. The evaluation also considers the scale and effectiveness of your initiatives, their alignment with UAE national priorities, and their contribution to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and ESG.
