Majra National CSR Fund is a purpose-driven federal government entity, dedicated to supporting impactful, sustainable projects that foster economic empowerment, environmental conservation, and social well-being. By uniting private sector businesses, government entities, and community organizations, we aim to create long-term value and measurable impact that aligns with the UAE’s Vision 2030 and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Governance Structure

CSR and sustainability committees

Majra's governance structure is built around 3 Permanent Commitees and 7 CSR and sustainability committes based in each of the Emirates and led by the local Chamber of Commerce. MAJRA’s governance was established to serve communities across the seven emirates highlighting the importance of cooperation with the private sector and ensure the direction of efforts towards achieving national priorities.Together, these committees play integrated roles in advancing corporate social responsibility practices at a national level, supporting institutional participation in the “National Corporate Social Responsibility Index” and the “Corporate Social Responsibility Mark.”

Advisory Committee

The Advisory Commitee chaired by His Excellency Abdullah Al Saleh, acts as a bridge to connect public-private sector partnerhsips through social responsibility commitees in each emirate led by the Chambers of Commerce.

Auditing Committee

The Auditing and Rish Commitee, chaired by Her Excellency Dr. Maryam Buti Al Suwaidi, is dedicated to ensuring the effectiveness of internal and external auditing and monitoring systems, while also overseeing committee governance and risk management.

Policies & Strategies Committee

The Policies and Strategies Commitee, chaired by His Excellency Mubarak Al Nakhi, aims to ensure the application of best practices in the legislative process related to social responsibility and sustainability. The committee is also responsible for selecting and evaluating projects based on approved standards and submitting them to the Board of Trustees for approval.

CSR and Sustainability Commitees

The Chairman of the CSR and Sustainability Committee in each Emirate identifies challenges, opportunities, and projects related to the environment, society, health, and education. Together with the Committee members, the Chairman prepares plans that aim to enhance and encourage innovative social responsibility initiatives and practices. The Initiatives will be submitted to the Majra's Board of Trustees, who will review and select those with highest sustainable impact for the UAE. The Chairman of the Committee leads this process ensuring all required strategic and development goals are achieved.
