Project Highlights

"HYVEGEO" aims to support carbon dioxide absorption by using microalgae, with "1.8 tons of carbon per ton of algae," converting the latter into biochar, organic fertilizer, and bio-stimulants to renew desert sands into agricultural soil for sustainable homegrown food and air purification. HYVEGEO grows microalgae using wasted resources—vast unused desert lands, wastewater, and sunlight. They convert the biomass into stable carbon (biochar) and agricultural products. Then, they collect these products to convert dry desert soil into arable land, increasing sustainable local food production while storing carbon.
