- Entire Agreement: These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Majra regarding your use of the Website.
- Reservation of Rights: Majra expressly reserves all rights not specifically granted in these Terms.
- Service-Specific Terms
The following terms apply specifically to programs offered through the Website. In the event of a conflict between these Service-Specific Terms and the General Terms above, these Service-Specific Terms shall govern.
2.1 Impact Seal
Eligibility and Applications
- Participation requires login through UAE Pass by an authorized representative
- Applicants must provide:
- Authority-issued trade license or certificate
- Company profile
- Impact Declaration (CSR activities information)
- Complete and honest application with supporting evidence
- Eligibility requirements:
- Active trade license
- At least one full calendar year of operations
- All materials must be in English
- Sole proprietorships, freelancers, and cooperatives are eligible
- SMEs qualify for a tailored application (based on Ministry of Economy’s model)
- Applications must be submitted within the designated application window
Evaluation and Assessment
- Applications will be reviewed by Majra with assistance from Subject Matter Experts
- Applications must meet minimum criteria as specified on the Impact Seal website, guidebook, and FAQs
- Assessment is based solely on information provided in the application
- Qualified applications will be certified as Silver, Gold, or Platinum
- Majra may engage third-party evaluators and experts
- Evaluators’ decisions are final and binding
- Majra may request additional information, interviews, or site visits
- Assessment criteria may be adjusted for different company sizes and sectors
Confidentiality and Data Protection
- All submitted information will be treated as confidential
- Majra may use anonymized data for research and reporting
- Winners agree to be featured in promotional materials
- Applicants retain ownership of submitted materials
- Application data may be shared with relevant government entities
Certification and Use
- Impact Seal certification is valid for two years
- Winners must follow Majra’s branding guidelines when using the seal
- The seal cannot be transferred or sold
- Majra reserves the right to revoke certification for any perceived misuse
- Companies must report significant operational changes during the certification period
Post-Certification Obligations
- Winners will participate in knowledge-sharing activities led by Majra
- Regular updates on sustainability initiatives may be required
- Companies must maintain standards throughout the certification period
- Winners must notify Majra of any major organizational changes
- Participation in impact measurement studies may be required
Additional Terms for Impact Seal
- Majra’s decisions are final and binding, and applicants may not contest them
- Majra may offer feedback at its discretion (not to be considered legal or financial advice)
- Organizations must be legally established in the UAE and in good standing
- A C-suite member must attend the award ceremony if awarded the Impact Seal
- Attendees may undergo security clearance
- False declarations may result in a permanent ban from Majra’s initiatives
- Majra reserves the right to conduct spot checks or request additional documentation
- Majra reserves the right to modify program materials, logos, terms, conditions, and evaluation criteria
2.2 Sustainable Impact Challenge
Eligibility and Participation
- Application requires UAE Pass login by an authorized representative
- Participants must provide company details, project profile, and supporting evidence
- Only UAE-licensed private and third sector organizations may participate
- Sole proprietorships, freelancers, and cooperatives are not eligible
- Organizations must be in good legal standing with no ongoing investigations
- Company representatives must have explicit authorization to submit projects
Project Requirements
- Projects must be existing or completed (no future projects)
- Projects must address clear challenges within the UAE
- All submissions must include verifiable evidence of execution and impact
- Projects must be genuine CSR or Sustainability initiatives
- Multiple project submissions from the same organization are allowed (if applicable)
- Projects must comply with UAE laws and regulations
Submission Process
- All submissions must be made through the official platform
- Submissions must be complete and in English
- Supporting documentation must be in specified formats
- Submission deadlines are final unless officially extended
- Majra reserves the right to extend or modify submission periods
- Incomplete submissions will be rejected
Voting and Selection
- Public voting contributes to initial shortlisting
- Projects with the most votes will be reviewed by expert judges
- Majra reserves the right to consider other projects regardless of votes if they demonstrate impact or relevance
- Organizations may promote their projects for votes
- Majra reserves the right to disqualify projects with fraudulent voting
- Final selection is based on evaluation metrics at Majra’s discretion
- Majra’s decisions are final and binding
Prizes and Awards
Total prize money of AED 750,000 will be distributed as follows:
- 1st Place: AED 300,000
- 2nd Place: AED 200,000
- 3rd Place: AED 100,000
- 3 Special Recognition Awards: AED 50,000 each
Additional terms:
- Winners must attend the award ceremony
- Prizes are non-transferable
- Tax implications are the winner’s responsibility
- Special recognition prizes may have additional criteria
- Winning organizations must agree to publicity
Intellectual Property and Confidentiality
- Participants grant Majra a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use their organization’s logo and project information for promotional purposes
- Participants retain ownership of their project’s Intellectual Property
- Confidential information must be clearly marked
- Majra will only use general project information for promotional purposes
Post-Selection Obligations
- Winners must participate in knowledge sharing
- Winners must provide project updates if requested
- Winners must maintain project standards
- Winners must comply with verification processes
- Winners must participate in impact measurement
Additional Terms for Sustainable Impact Challenge
- Project information (excluding confidentially marked supporting evidence) may be used on the Majra website
- Majra reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time
- False declarations result in immediate disqualification
- Majra may conduct verification visits and request additional documentation
- Project qualification and verification stamps have separate terms
- Majra is not responsible for technical submission issues
- Shortlisted winners must attend the award ceremony (with at least 2 weeks’ notice)
- Not attending may result in disqualification and selection of the next runner-up
